Profilage de formes irrégulières avec CN !
Le système de profilage M.E.S.C. permet le réduction du temps de programmation et de triage des pièces. La machine mesure les pièces (toutes ayant le même profil) et, en temps réel, ajuste automatiquement le forme selon la longueur de la pièce. Il n’est donc pas nécessaire d’avoir un programme spécifique pour chaque longueur de pièce.
Une fois que l’opérateur a rappelé le programme de profilage, il peut alimenter la machine avec des pièces de longueurs différentes, la machine s’ajustera automatiquement. Le système de profilage présente deux avantages importants:
1) Au lieu d’avoir à entrer une liste de programmes, l’opérateur n’a qu’à alimenter la machine.
2) L’opérateur n’a pas à alimenter la machine en séquence. Quelque soit la longueur de la pièce, la forme sera usinée d’après les paramètres du programme sélectionné.

Doucet lance deux nouveaux modèles de bouveteuse
Doucet Machineries, le chef de file mondial des systèmes intégrés de bouvetage pour l'industrie du bois de plancher massif, annonce le lancement des bouveteuses SSM et DH-2.
Avec une capacité d’usinage allant jusqu'à 240 pièces minute, la bouveteuse SSM est conçue pour une production de 35 à 50,000 pieds carrés de plancher en lattes par quart de travail; dépassant largement les limites de productivité de tous les systèmes existants sur le marché. Son implantation vous permettra d'améliorer la rentabilité de votre entreprise à bien des égards. La SSM s’opère avec un apport minimum de ressources humaines; elle permet d’usiner des pièces d’une longueur minimale de 10 pouces, deux facteurs qui contribuent à réduire substantiellement votre coût de production au pied carré.
La bouveteuse SSM est munie de deux paires de chaînes de fonte usinées de haute précision avec système de lubrification automatique par injection. Ses cabines d'usinage sont munies d’un dispositif de verrouillage empêchant l’accès aux outils lorsqu’ils sont en mouvement.
La bouveteuse SSM comporte plusieurs améliorations techniques visant à simplifier les mises au point entre les cycles de production. Les outils de coupe sont faciles d’accès et les ajustements d'épaisseur du bois se font en un tourne main. Toutes les bases des moteurs d'usinage sont munies d’indicateurs à cadran pour faciliter le repérage des positions de travail. La SSM est équipée de rouleaux de transfert de 3 pouces de diamètre conférant plus de stabilité aux pièces de parquet lors du passage entre les postes d’usinage et à la sortie. Enfin, un système de freinage par induction permet d’arrêter la rotation des outils de coupe en quelques secondes.
En plus du lancement de la SSM, Doucet annonce la mise en marché de la bouveteuse DH-2, la seconde révision complète de son modèle DH depuis son introduction il y a dix ans.
La bouveteuse DH-2 à grande capacité est conçue pour la production de 20 à 30,000 pieds carrés de plancher en lattes ou en planches par quart de travail. Elle est munie de deux chaînes en fonte usinées de grande précision, et d'un système de lubrification des chaînes par injection. La nouvelle version de la DH comprend la plupart des améliorations techniques que l’on retrouve sur la SSM, tout en étant offerte a un prix comparable à celui du modèle antérieur.

The “DH-2” is a “High Capacity End-Matcher”, suitable for production of 20 to 30,000 square feet of random length strip or plank flooring per shift. Equipped with single ductile iron chains and the same injector type chain lubrication system, the new End-Matcher incorporates most of the technical improvements offered on the SSM Model while maintaining the price and production capacity of the former DH Model.

New clamp MORPHS to suit any application!
The revolutionary, economical new MPC is a completely MODULAR clamping system. The MPC features a bar body that accepts multiple clamping arms and other accessories that give the user endless options. The clamp can be set-up in infinite ways to suit ANY clamping application, whether difficult, routine, or repetitive.
With the removal of the key ring at the end of the clamp, components easily slide ON or OFF the clamping bar to create dozens of different configurations, allowing the user to "improvise" as necessary.
• Using an optional connector bar, two clamps can be linked together for side by side or perpendicular clamping.
• The clamping arm can be reversed for "spreading" applications.
• A threaded pad on the bottom of the fixed jaw allows the user to mount the clamp to a workpiece using a wood screw, or add numerous spindles to the base.
• V-Blocks, hinges or other spindles can be placed in the base, allowing the clamp to swing to any odd position or angle, or "step over" a raised table edge.
The MPC can take the place of many clamps, significantly reducing the cost and time spent on expensive fixturing devices. The MIX and MATCH flexibility of this clamp allows the MPC to perfectly adapt to any clamping application that may arise.
